Scott has worked with and taken instruction from top professionals across
the horse industry. A farrier school graduate, Scott worked with a seasoned
Standardbred farrier before attending Meredith Manor International School of
Horsemanship. After a 1980 graduation he worked nearly two years for reining
horse great Bob Loomis. Since that time Scott has taken instruction from
numerous Grand Prix dressage trainers. During this time, Scott began showing Morgan horses, and currently trains and shows Morgans in
multiple disciplines. He is a USEF judge for the Morgan division.
Cate has been a life long horsewoman. She has shown in numerous divisions, from welsh ponies to American Saddlebred
show horses. She currently rides as an amateur, showing her Morgan, while supporting farm
activities. Cate works professionally in the public school system, and when not busy with horses, enjoys
gardening. Scott and Cate enjoying singing and playing guitar. They attend Christian Hope Center Church.
